Insights about a Punta Cana Destination wedding!
The Jelly Fish Restaurant staff handled the decor, flowers, cake, timeline, DJ, and everything else, and as if that was not enough the food was spectacular!
The bride and groom chose to decorate the altar and dance floor chandelier with all white orchids and to complement the fun character of the Jelly Fish Restaurant. Soft, subtle, accents of turquoise beachy décor with White/cream roses, baby’s breath and blue hydrangea, all of which played just wonderfully against the natural beauty of the Dominican Republic.
Lauren wore a beautiful Amsale dress, Bagley Mischka gold strappy wedges, an orchid in her hair and her mother’s veil. As for jewelry the most special detail Lauren wore was, her great great grandmother’s gold beads as a bracelet (wich had been worn in all her family’s weddings throughout the years!) complemented by an Ippolita gold necklace with a crystal pendant, and simple diamond earrings.
The bridesmaids wore flowy beautiful ice blue dresses in different styles from Amsale and nude wedges accessorized with Kendra Scott gold necklaces with a grey tiger eye jewel (present from the bride). Kevin & his groomsmen’s wore Menguin’s tan suits with white shirts and pale baby blue ties and light blue pocket squares. Kevin had a bowtie.
The ceremony was short and meaningful with the highlight being Kevin and Lauren personal vows that they wrote for one another. ( As I always advice to my couples if there just one details that you should make personal on your wedding ceremony, choose writing personal vows to each other, they will truly made your ceremony special as they came from your bare hearts!
Reception was perfectly timed out from welcome Coco Loco cocktails to dinner and speeches to the bouquet toss and dancing all night, (we are proud to say that we are experts on helping our clients create perfect timelines that allows them to transition seamlessly from one thing to the other while enjoying every minute of it. The food chose was amazing (JellyFish trademark by the way) and cake/cupcakes just delicious.
For the first dance Kevin and Lauren were surrounded by their loved ones holding sparklers for perfect ambiance on a beautifully decorated dance floor under the palm trees & the stars. For the rest of the night the natural dance floor was never empty while the DJ played requested music trough all night and the bartenders never left someone without a drink in their hands! When someone needed a break from all the dancing, they could venture off into the sand to lay on the pillows scattered about. I mean what part of this doesn’t sound like the perfect celebration!
