Valentina & Dmitry
Valentina always knew she wanted to have a destination wedding with her closest family and friends, but she was pretty clueless of where to start. So after lots of research, she came across with our work and instantly reached out. Of course, we guided her during the whole planning process and helped her put together the most fantastic team, including the Huracan Cafe team.
Valentina’s words about her wedding planning:
A beautiful wedding at an exotic destination with my closest family and friends in attendance was always my dream even before getting engaged. Dmitry & I considered so many different options, such as renting a villa or having a wedding on the island or a boat. Then one day, I came across Asia and Niko’s pictures and instantly knew I had to reach out to them. Indeed the best decision, they guided us during the whole planning process and helped us put the most fantastic team, including Huracan venue team. That’s is how I found Huracan, and it was definitely, love at first sight. Huracan is a very unique, romantic, and magical venue by the beach, ideal for making unforgettable new memories!
Our wedding ceremony was at sunset on the beach, honestly nothing less than magical. Walking down the aisle off my dad’s arms to a very emotional Dmitry, was once in a lifetime experience. It is so much better than any romantic movie; it feels like time paused for you. It was just perfect!
Make sure to plan also for the little details!
While planning our wedding, lots of past brides mentioned how quickly the day goes by. The day after our wedding, I understood what they all meant. It was by far the shortest day of my life! So ladies & gentlemen enjoy every second of your wedding and don’t let anything ruin it for you. The only thing I would modify is maybe the timeline of the day. Our dinner lasted about 1-1.5 hours, and I would allow perhaps an extra 30 minutes for dinner (our speeches were while dinner and some guests got distracted by it and didn’t get to finish their main course or try their cake.
Although there are a few small details I might have done differently, our day was perfect. For example, I do wish I had a lighter second dress. I wish we brought our real rings with us for beautiful pictures, instead of fake ones. Also, make sure to coordinate having someone to take care of your belongings, and at the end of the party, you might be too tired to collect it all. Thank heavens, my best friend packed it all for me. Also, lastly, video, and photos are the only tangible & visuals you will have afterward. They are worth every penny!
