Punta Cana weddings has all, one thing in common. They are dazzling, emotional, fun and very special. Today we bring you a very particular one, since we know that as the temperatures drop on your back yard you’re dreaming of warm beaches and sunshine, so what better than a tropical vow renewal to jump-start your week? Kristin & Gerald, love the beach so they thought it would be perfect that they could renew our vows sun-kissed on the beautiful beach of Punta Cana.
Kristin and Gerald ” planned their 10-years Renewal Ceremony and Celebration off the coast of the Dominican Republic, in a little slice of paradise called Punta Cana at the beautiful Jellyfish Beach Restaurant. A beautiful oceanside ceremony with a rustic-chic style, set up with an ethereal white canopy, greenery fresh flowers, colors were beautiful shades of blush, pink, coral, and gold chairs for their intimate Renewal Ceremony.
Gerald’s groomsmen wore dark blue suits with cream ties and brown shoes. Ladies wore an ombre of pink, blush, and coral. This wedding ceremony at Jelly Fish Punta Cana was full of love! “Their 3 wonderful children were so happy to be apart of the ceremony. The two beautiful girls participated as flower girls and the one year old was a Jr. groomsman. Kristin & Gerald each wrote their own heartfelt vows and Kristin’s uncle (who is a bishop) officiated the ceremony.”
After the couple renewed their vows, the celebration continued. An intimate reception al fresco adorned with stringing lights where they indulged in a delicious dinner with their closest people. “The reception was a blast,” Kristin says. “After our first dance with our kids, we all enjoyed a dazzling fire show on the beach. Followed by a Dominican carnival and dancing all night. Everyone stills talks about how much fun we had that night.”
The day after their Vow’s renewal celebration at Jelly Fish Restaurant in Punta Cana. We took Kristin & Gerald, for a rock the dress Photo session to one of our very favorite locations on the Dominican Republic, Altos de Chavon.
My favorite thing from Rock the dress photo session is that our couples have time to enjoy each other’s company without pressure. There is always different energy of wonder and camaraderie on this day that there is not during the wedding day. Although maybe their gowns or their hair and makeup or their flowers are not in as good shape as the day before. This day is truly about just the two of them, there is nobody else to please or to divide their attention with.
And that’s exactly what Kristin and Gerald did. They truly enjoyed each other’s company, smiles, jokes, and kisses as we strolled around the dozens of little alleys and corners of the magical Altos de Chavon at Casa de Campo resort & villas.
I really can’t imagine a better way to celebrate your 10th marriage anniversary than how Kristin and Gerald did. First, they dedicated an entire day to celebrate and party with their kids and loved ones. But also they reserved the next day entirely for the two of them and nobody else. We actually were not even there, we promise we just walked close to them, observed and documented so they could enjoy themselves and the wonderful surroundings!
Kristin’s words, about us, was definitely, my favorite part of this wedding besides all the beauty and lov . She says: One of the best things, was knowing that Niko’s team was there to document every beautiful moment. And to capture such breathtaking images of our perfect day as they did, Kristin says.
We hope you have enjoyed this one of our favorite Punta Cana weddings at the gorgeous Jelly Fish Restaurant. And all the prettiness that our NCH STUDIO Team documented for them and their beautiful family.
