We loved Lauren + Kevin’s Jelly Fish Restaurant Wedding for many reasons. Scroll down to enjoy the complete preview plus some planning insights of this stylish Punta Cana wedding.
Everything started when Lauren’s mom heard a great review from a friend and past Punta Cana bride. Some major research confirmed that: “The venue Jellyfish Restaurant was beautiful and full of personality and fit the style and theme of Kevin & Lauren’s wedding perfectly.
Lauren wore a beautiful Amsale dress, Bagley Mischka gold strappy wedges, and her mother’s veil. As for jewelry, Lauren wore her great-great grandmother’s gold beads as a bracelet (which had been worn in all her family’s weddings throughout the years!). All complemented by an Ippolita gold necklace with a crystal pendant, and simple diamond earrings.
The bride chose to let play the fun character of Jelly Fish Restaurant and just complement it using subtle, accents of turquoise beachy décor. Completed with white orchids, cream roses, baby’s breath, and blue hydrangea. All of which played just wonderfully against the natural beauty of the Punta Cana skies.
The ceremony was short and meaningful. With the highlights being Kevin and Lauren’s personal vows, that they wrote for one another. This truly made their ceremony special as their vows came from your bare hearts!
The bridesmaids wore flowy ice blue dresses in different styles from Amsale. Accessorized with Kendra Scott gold necklaces (present from the bride). Kevin & groomsmen wore tan suits with white shirts and pale baby blue ties and light blue pocket squares. Kevin had a bowtie.
Reception was perfectly timed out, from welcome cocktails to dinner, to speeches to bouquet toss and dancing all night. The food served was spectacular (JellyFish trademark by the way) and the cake/cupcakes just delicious.
For the first dance, our bride and groom were surrounded by their guests holding sparklers around a beautifully decorated dance floor under the palm trees & the stars.
For the rest of the night, the DJ played requested music nonstop and bartenders never left someone without a drink! If anyone needed a break, they could venture off into the sand to lay on the pillows scattered around. Doesn’t this sound like the perfect party?
Kevin & Lauren thank you so much for being amazing and for choosing us and trusting NCH Studio to document your Jelly Fish Restaurant Wedding.
