I guess you are asking what the heck it means the paragraph that start this post, well it is a very sticky latin song, for some reason this wedding make remember this song so I decided to include some of it in here!! Please enjoy another gorgeous couple, that choose to start their happily ever after at my adored island, Dominican Republic. Now I leave you to enjoy just some shots of Hayley and Chris gorgeous beautiful Punta Cana Destination wedding at Jelly Fish Restaurant!!
Enjoy as seen in
We met at a bar in Little Italy in Toronto.
My wedding proposa, it was a day fit for a princess. We decided to have a “tourist” day in Toronto. Chris took me on a tour of Casa Loma (which is an actual castle). We finished the tour with lunch on the terrace. Chris took me for a walk to the secret garden where he got down on one knee and told me he wanted to keep me forever :)
About our wedding! We chose our venue because of all the great reviews on the food, venue and wedding coordinators. We had 41 guests from Toronto, Los Angeles & New York. Our wedding wedding theme, you could say it was a kind of White & Silver “Great Gatsby” All white, Roses, orchids, hydrangeas & lilies. with pops of natural green and metallics. Very classic with a romantic feel (lots of string lights!).
It was the perfect day. The weather was phenomenal, not a cloud in the sky. We had a wonderful sand ceremony to symbolize our marriage. We also had a few unexpected surprises… a party boat passing by in the middle of our ceremony. What else could we do but dance at the top of the aisle! I also fell into the ocean during our bride & groom photo session on the beach. All was saved when Asia & Niko dried my dress under the hand dryer in the bathroom. We had a bourbon bar and special cigars for the men to enjoy.
We had a fabulous Spanish guitarist that sang cover songs from some of our favourite artists. A surprise fire show for our guests after the most incredible dinner, really got the party started. Chris did a rendition of “Pony” from Magic Mike during the garter toss, trying to keep it as PG as possible. Lastly we had a very romantic sparker send off to end the most perfect day of our lives.
The day after the wedding, we took our guests on a private catamaran tour – Catamaran Tour Punta Cana. It was absolutely incredible. We cruised along the coast of Punta Cana. We stopped at the Cabeza de Toro reef, for snorkelling We saw very colourful fish and coral. We stopped at a undeveloped beach where we had delicious coconut cocktails. On our way back we stopped at the natural pools where we partied while enjoying lobster, shrimp, chicken, vegetables and drinks, all served to us in the water by the amazing staff who never stopped dancing! It was one of the highlights for everyone who joined us!
