Jelly Fish, Punta Cana, Destination wedding Photographer! Gina & Brian The Whole of my heart for the whole of my life !!

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth’s unknown, although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle’s compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

      Shakespeare Sonet CXVI

The Whole of my heart for the whole of my life!! Never have truer words been spoken – Brian and Gina are high school sweethearts who were truly made for each other. The two planned their dream destination wedding off the coast of the Dominican Republic, in the beautiful area of Punta Cana. The brunette bombshell looked absolutely stunning in her lace, white Casablanca wedding gown, Givenchy jewelry and halo headpiece. Brian looked just as handsome in a sleek grey vest, slacks and tie.  The ceremony was held at a little slice of paradise in Punta Cana – the Jellyfish Restaurant.  A gorgeous set-up on the beach with rustic lanterns, candles and an ethereal white canopy with a chandelier set the stage for the couple to say, “I do!”.  Enjoy!

From the bride

Boy meets Girl   Brian and I met during our high school years in 2000 when he answered a mutual friends cell phone I tried calling. We meet up in person shortly after that phone call and have been inseparable ever since. Remembering back makes me feel like a giddy 15 year old all over again crushing over the popular boy in high school. Haha.

He Propose  Brian proposed on August 7th 2014 in Cape May, New Jersey. Cape May holds sentimental value to myself and family, as it was my late father’s favorite spot. Brian proposed after dinner at one of our favorite places on the water, The Lobster House. Stressing how he wanted to “see the boats” when we finished dinner, I followed him to a secluded spot outside overlooking the water. It was the perfect proposal and better than anything I ever envisioned. He even arranged a surprise photographer to capture the moment. My family arrived the next day and we had a mini vacation at the shore filled with amazing memories. It was an unforgettable week.
Wedding  Planning, Vision, style/color/scheme   We wanted something different. Brian and I choose Jellyfish for our love of the beach and outdoors. The open to air setup was so natural and clean feeling. Being able to walk barefoot in the sand, feel the sun on our faces and hear the water in the distance was all we ever dreamed of. Jellyfish is truly a secret hidden gem.

Our theme was secret garden meets midnight summer dream. I was inspired by whites, pinks, peaches and lots of greenery with mixed metal accents. I wanted it appear whimsical and romantic with candles, lanterns, hidden butterflies and hanging bird cages filled with  white and pink roses, Gerber daisies, carnations, eucalyptus and lots of greenery.  Our cake was also inspired by our secret garden/midnight summer dream theme. Shakespeare sonnet 116 was hand written around the entire cake.  The three tier cake sat on a cake swing that was wrapped in vines and roses.

Wedding ceremony, Reception what made it unique/special !  During our ceremony we exchanged our own written vows which were very important to us. We had a love locket ceremony and later a balloon release in memory of my late father.    We had just 18 guests,  all very closest friends and familiy,  it was an emotional and beautiful ceremony.

 We surprised our guest with crazy hour and the fire show. They loved it! This was so much fun and entertained everyone.   At the end of the night we had JF pack up leftover wedding cake in personalised favor boxes I provided. The guests were able to grab these boxes on the way out for a late night snack.
